The Federal Traffic Council has outlined essential safety measures for residents traveling during summer:

• Lighting system functionality (headlamps, brake lights, turn signals)
• Battery condition assessment
Practical Safety Measures:
• Roof cargo load restrictions (maximum 60 centimeters height)
• Removal of heat-hazardous items (lighters, aerosol cans, power banks)
• Activation of child-safety door locks
• Proper seatbelt use and emergency kit availability
Driving Compliance:
• Speed limit adherence
• Safe following distances
• Avoiding distracted driving
Enforcement and Implementation
Police forces across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah are conducting vehicle inspections and enforcement activities aligned with the campaign. The initiative involves collaboration with insurance companies, tire retailers, car rental agencies, and service stations to promote awareness among the 9.4 million residents.
